With Teamwork, Planning, and a great culinary team, the Bandit Inn Dining Facility at Ellsworth Air Force Base South Dakota sets off to tantalize the palettes and give thanks to the troops of Ellsworth. Preparation and planning was the key to a successful execution of the 2008 Thanksgiving meal.
With Preparations underway progressive cooking starts to commence. This insures high quality and freshness of all the culinary delights instead of cooking everything all at once and getting cold. This process takes a lot of coordination, timing, and attention to detail from the Chef’s Apprentices all the way up to the Floor Manager (Chef Rhodello Nuval).
Presentation is an important part of the culinary art. People eat with their eyes. This year is the first year the Bandit Inn creates an Ice Sculpture to grace the tablescape which was created and designed by Chef Rhodello Nuval.
Customer service is what we are here to provide and smiling faces sends wonderful feedback to the culinary team on the success of their operation. With the outstanding support of the Ellsworth leadership, the culinary team at Ellsworth Air Force Base moves forward to the bright future.
